Moscow Mule
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz vodka
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- 4 oz ginger beer (or ginger ale)
- Lime wedge
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour the vodka and lime juice into an ice filled highball glass. Top with ginger beer and stir. Squeeze the lime wedge over the drink and drop it in.
NOTES
This was the libation that propelled vodka into popularity in 1940's America. The proper vessel for a Moscow Mule is a copper mug but a collins glass is fine.
